Kim F. -- Trenton, Michigan: I brought the bag
home Wednesday and set it down on a chair in the living
room. George said he thought it strange that not only did
Finster give it the usual sniff test, but then he tried to
climb into it. I took the pad out of the bag and put it on
the floor in the corner of the dining nook where Finster
will sometimes nap. He started rubbing his chin on it first,
then his whole face, then he started rubbing the rest of his
body on it. He would slide across it and then he would grab
it with both paws and give it a kick. When he was finished,
he'd start all over again. Once he had himself all worn out
he flopped down on top of it to nap. One corner was up the
wall which he used for a head prop. Only part of him fit
because he is soooo big, but he spent the rest of the
evening there and I had to coax him to get him to go for his
nightly brushing and bed time treats.
Follow-up from Kim F.: It has been a couple of
months since I got Finster's pad from you and he still
lounges on it in the dining nook area.
Cheryl -- Dearborn Heights, Michigan: I purchased
some cat ravioli last summer in Trenton. I have never seen
my cats so 'crazy' in love with anything.
Dennis -- Michigan (click on picture to see enlarged
photo): When I walked in the door, Tally came to see who
it was (and probably to see if they had a snack for him). I
reached down and petted him, and showed him the pillow, and
he snatched it away from me and flopped on the floor and
started licking it. I could not get him to move, or let go
of it, or even look away from it. I had to get the camera
and take a picture of it. Poor Bear just walked by to sniff
and see what he was doing, and got a swat across his nose
for being there. He licked on that thing until it was
totally soaked. After about 10 minutes, he just rolled over
and looked at me (like he wanted a cigarette or something).
I didn't realize that cats had that much saliva in them.
He'll probably be dehydrated after that!!! So I think he
likes it!!
(click on picture to see enlarged photo) We
rescued a kitten who was abandoned by it's feral mom only a
week after Labor Day 2004. We aren't sure why but his/her
mom moved 3 siblings but six or more hours later she still
hadn't come to get this kitten -- it was crying so piteously
and was so hungry we picked it up and got emergency feeding
supplies from a local pet supply store. One of the ladies at
work agreed to take the kitten when we couldn't find where
the other 3 kittens had been moved to. Runt (the mom) is
very small, actually looks more like a kitten herself, and
we had speculated that she wasn't able to carry this one as
it had been reported to us by others that she had difficulty
carrying the other three. After a week of TLC the kitten is
doing splendidly and is getting bigger each day. We held a
mini "baby" shower and gifted the kitten (and it's new
"mom") with toys and a cat pad. Although too young to
appreciate catnip, the pad will make a nice snoozing place
that the kitten will quickly grow into.
Julie -- Clifton, New Jersey (click on picture to see enlarged

present that I got from your shop. The picture is a bit
blurry, but as you can see, she went crazy for it, jumping
up and down and playing with reckless abandon.
 Feral
Kitties -- Pontiac, MI (click on picture to see enlarged
photo): I took toys in to work for a coworker's kitty
and decided to give a couple of the Catnip Bowties to the
feral cats that we feed out in our parking lot.
Patches (a tortie) is like my Perry, lick-lick, rub-rub and
she was happy. Ghost (a gray and white boy) went nuts
doing acrobatics (video
- please note this is very large in size 6mb and not the
best quality) and tossing it
around. Perhaps after I left the others might have
gotten a chance to play with them!
